Game Development Intensive
A comprehensive 8-month program designed for serious learners ready to build real games from concept to completion. Starting September 2025, we're accepting applications for our most practical curriculum yet.
What You'll Actually Build
Forget theoretical assignments. You'll create three complete games during this program — a 2D platformer, a puzzle game, and your own original project. Each one playable, polished, and portfolio-ready.
Our approach focuses on the messy reality of game development. You'll debug crashes at 2 AM, redesign levels that nobody understands, and learn why that brilliant feature idea breaks everything else. These experiences teach you more than any textbook could.
- Unity and C# fundamentals through hands-on projects
- Game design principles tested with real player feedback
- Art integration and audio implementation workshops
- Publishing process from Steam to mobile platforms
- Version control and collaborative development practices
- Performance optimization for different hardware
The program runs evenings and weekends to accommodate working professionals. Expect about 15 hours of commitment per week — some weeks lighter when concepts click easily, others heavier when you're troubleshooting complex systems.
Meet Kieran Belmont
Kieran has spent the last decade building games that people actually play. His indie studio released four commercial titles, including "Midnight Rovers" which found an unexpected audience on Steam. More importantly, he's taught over 200 students who now work at studios ranging from small indies to major publishers.
What sets Kieran apart isn't just technical knowledge — it's his ability to explain why certain approaches work while others create headaches down the line. He'll show you shortcuts that save hours and warn you about "clever" solutions that cause problems later.
Background & Experience
• Published titles on Steam, iOS, and Android platforms
• Former technical lead at Baku Digital Creative Studio
• Regular speaker at regional game development meetups
